Mrs. ND International 2016

autograph-card-frontAs Mrs. North Dakota International, Ashley has the privilege and honor to represent all of the wonderful women and families from across the great state of North Dakota; a responsibility that she takes very seriously and with incredible honor.

Although Ashley had never participated in a pageant before she participated in the North Dakota International Pageant on January 16, 2016 in Fargo, ND, she knew her participation was a perfect way for her to ‘lead by example’ for women and young ladies everywhere. She wanted to show them that life truly is about combining our abilities with the opportunities around us. We might not know what the end result is going to be, but as long as we embrace who we are and what we have to offer, and stay true to what we’re passionate about and what brings us purpose, then we’re going to go much further in life than we could’ve ever expected!

In order to make the most out of this once-in-a-lifetime experience, and to have a long-lasting, positive impact as Mrs. North Dakota International 2016 for years to come, Ashley has 3 primary intentions that she would love to focus on during this year.

platform-sheetIntention 1: As a Personal Mentor and Professional Business Coach: to lead by example for women and young ladies everywhere, especially those in the great state of North Dakota. To empower them to find confidence by staying true to who they are as individuals, and to show them how to experience Success and Fulfillment by living life thru Purpose, Passion and Platform!

Intention 2: As a Cancer Survivor: to advocate for my personal platform, The Cope Well Foundation, and to bring awareness to the emotional recovery of cancer survivorship, in order to have a positive, long-lasting impact on the lives of those who have been affected by cancer! As emotional recovery isn’t limited to cancer alone, the long-term goal of The Cope Well Foundation is to eventually provide their services to those who are going through different types of survivorship journeys. I look forward to leading them in those efforts!

Intention 3: As a Woman: to advocate for the American Heart Association and their Go Red for Women movement, the official platform of the International Pageant System, in order to help empower women everywhere to be their own advocates and reduce the risk of heart disease! In addition to the AHA, I simply want to be an advocate for women in general and their overall health and well-being!

Although she knows this year is going to require an extreme amount of effort and time balance, Ashley is beyond thrilled for this opportunity and looks forward to ‘making a difference’ during the year that lies ahead. She promises to do her very best to represent the North Dakota International Pageant system to the best of her abilities, in order to leave behind a legacy that will have a long-lasting, positive impact on people’s lives for years to come!

If there is one thing you should know, it is this: Leading by example for those around me, and making a difference in the lives of others, isn’t my hobby; it’s my Purpose. I did not pick a platform so I could be involved in the International Pageant system. Rather, I’m involved in the International Pageant system because I have a platform that I represent and want to bring awareness to. This pageant system is the perfect opportunity for me to do just that, and to continue to build on the life I have created of ‘leading by example’ and ‘making a difference’ in the lives of others.

“A special thank you to all of the men and women who bravely serve our country. It’s because of the sacrifices that you and your families make that we are all able to live the lives that we do. For that, I will forever be grateful and indebted to you.”

“And finally, THANK YOU, to my Family and Friends, especially my Husband, Andrew, for continuing to provide me with loving support and encouragement. I couldn’t do this as effectively without each of you!”
